- Ed has been involved in the Toronto tennis scene for the past 25 years – working, playing and volunteering.
- Ed has run ITF adult and junior tournaments, worked for the OTA, was the Tennis Director at the Mississaugua Golf and Country Club and is now in his 3rd year as Tennis Manager at Mayfair Parkway.
- Has volunteered at numerous local community clubs, including being on the Board of Directors for the past 20 years at Kew Gardens.
- Ed got into competitive team tennis after university and was a player and captain of the IC Majors team at Thorncillfe Park Tennis Club for 11 years and for the past 10, has been a player and captain of the Kew TMTL A2 team.
